Kevin Saunderson is celebrating 30 years of his and vocalist Paris Grey’s chart-topping Inner City project with a brand new tour.

The Good Life tour, named after the pair’s hit 1988 single, will kick off in Europe this spring.

As Inner City celebrates the next chapter in its influential journey, Saunderson’s set-up will now feature his son and creative protégé Dantiez as a full-time member. The new set-up was first premiered at 2018’s Movement Detroit.

“We have an enormous catalogue of classics from our previous years and now we are moving and shaping a new sound for a new generation. It’s been 30 unforgettable years of Inner City,” says Saunderson. “Thinking back to when I first started the group, I could never have predicted how it would transform, now with my son Dantiez by my side, leading us into the future with great music for years to come. It’s going to be exciting for sure!”

The European leg begins on April 18 in Amsterdam, before hitting up Leeds, London, Barcelona, Glasgow, Belgium, Lyon and more. Other guests announced for the tour include vocalist Steffanie Christi’an.

DJ EZ HAS ANNOUNCED A HOUSE AND TECHNO ALIAS

DJ EZ has announced his new alias, Elvin Zedo, that will focus on house and techno sets.

Elvin Zedo originally came about in 2004 when DJ EZ was gaining profile as a prominent garage DJ. He’s said it helped him play different styles of music away from garage.

“House and techno has always had a special place in my heart and Elvin Zedo allowed me to continue to play these sounds without interfering with my role in the UK garage scene. Now my aim is to DJ under both names; DJ EZ and Elvin Zedo.”

The move seems natural for the DJ who begun his career as DJ Easy O playing house in the ’80s, something DJ EZ said he knew he “would always return to”.

The DJ is set to perform live sets under the name Elvin Zedo alongside his current work as DJ EZ.
